Thank you, Sarah Fagan!

—From Vintage Camper to Vision Realized—

When Sarah Fagan first heard about the Root + Gather coffee trailer—a functioning vintage Layton camper already converted into a coffee trailer—she didn’t hesitate. A devoted member of Lineage Church in Cocoa, homeschool mom of three, Vice President of Fagan Financial Group, board member at Space Coast Christian Co-op, and strong woman of faith, Sarah immediately asked, “How can I help?”

Root + Gather Coffee Co is more than a mobile café; it’s the sustainable social enterprise of ReleaseSARA, created to support SARA’s Roots, our housing initiative for survivors of sex trafficking. From the beginning, Sarah understood the impact this trailer could have—and she stepped in wholeheartedly to help bring it to life.

Though the trailer was operational, it needed significant remodeling and updates—much more than we initially anticipated. Sarah took on the massive project with confidence and clarity, stepping in as both project manager and visionary. She brought leadership and creativity to every detail, overseeing the remodel from start to finish and transforming the space with excellence and care.

When unexpected expenses arose, Sarah didn’t back down—she hosted a last minute paint party fundraiser at her home and raised nearly $3,000 to cover the added costs! She and her husband Jason also significantly contributed financially through various steps along the way to help ensure the project stayed on track and quality wasn’t compromised. Her dedication and generosity, both in time and resources, carried the renovation forward step by step.

After six months of planning, grit, research, and hands-on work, Sarah has completed her portion of the project—and the transformation is incredible. The coffee trailer now reflects beauty, functionality, and a clear vision for what’s ahead.

Though we still have a few final steps to take (like giving the exterior a wrap with logos and passing inspections)—before we can officially open—Sarah’s work has brought us within reach of that goal. Her leadership has laid the foundation for Root + Gather Coffee to become a thriving social enterprise that will serve our community and support survivors for years to come.

Sarah, we are beyond thankful for your heart, your “yes,” and your willingness to go above and beyond. Your fingerprints are on every corner of this project—and your impact will be felt far beyond the trailer walls!!!
