Financial Burden for Survivors

According to a recent report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition, a woman making minimum wage in Florida needs to work 98 hours a week to be able to afford a one-bedroom home.

This financial burden makes it extremely challenging for survivors who often face additional barriers such as trauma recovery, employment discrimination, a lack of financial resources, and the absence of a support system.

By providing stable housing at a reasonable cost, we empower survivors to take positive steps toward rebuilding their lives with dignity and security.
