Financial Burden for Survivors

According to a recent report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition, a woman making minimum wage in Florida needs to work 98 hours a week to be able to afford a one-bedroom home.

This financial burden makes it extremely challenging for survivors who often face additional barriers such as trauma recovery, employment discrimination, a lack of financial resources, and the absence of a support system.

Join us in making a difference through the SARA’s Roots Initiative! We provide survivors with affordable housing and easy access to essential resources from our trusted partners, all without adding financial burden. By providing stable housing at a reasonable cost, we empower survivors to take positive steps toward rebuilding their lives with dignity and security. With your help, we can build a brighter future for those in need.
